** SAP takes over XL reporter from iLytix
IN year January 2005 SAP took over an XL reporter from a Norwegian company called iLytix for it’s Business One line of product. This product is purely MS Excel based . The criteria for acquisition was increasing use of MS Excel, it's underlying importance in SMB sector and it's excellent integration with backend ERP.
** Data transformation in OLTP
Normally data transformation is very CPU intensive in an OLTP environment especially if it is disk based data transformation like Baan reporting.
